I’m just as surprised as you are that I’m in a “work” fantasy football league with a Super Bowl Champion and a guy known for the most notorious fumble in NFL history.

After getting cut almost immediately during high school football tryouts, I thought my football career was over. And I was right. It absolutely was. I have the athletic prowess of a baby deer.

Thankfully, a few short years later, I got into fantasy football, where I could embarrass myself yet again with my football acumen, until I overcame that adversity to become a fantasy football champion. A title no one will ever take away from me because, like learning cursive, it doesn’t really matter.

Having the chance to develop and produce this show was ridiculously enjoyable, and I am truly proud of the level of entertainment and production value we manifested in just a few short days.

I lead an insanely talented team at Pod People, in collaboration with the incredibly supportive folks at Chubbies, to create a fully produced NFL news and fantasy football show featuring:

The first episode of The Chubbies League Fantasy Football show was beyond ambitious – full video, LIVE fantasy football draft, with two call-in guests, and everything was fully remote. We had a VERY quick turnaround to edit and build out the entire look and tone of the show. We’re talking about coming up with segments, graphics, animations, just everything all at once!

I am so proud of what we made in just a few (LONG) days. So many smart and creative people made something that looks and feels well-established on such a tight deadline. I’m so fortunate to work with so many highly skilled humans.

Our next episode will drop in time for the fantasy trade deadline and playoff push!
